Surprise dropped in 2020, folklore is Swift’s eighth studio album. Shifting to an indie pop production style, folklore was lauded for its supreme lyricism and world-building storytelling. The album was a smashing success, selling 846,000 copies in its first week, in spite of being released at the peak of the pandemic. It led Swift to her third Album Of The Year Grammy.
